Recorded in two crazy days (the first in Norman Blain's home studio, the second in Jim Hemingway's backyard) in the summer of 1997 in the tiny town of Shutesbury, MA during Esma Redžeova and the Ansambl Teodosijevski's first tour after the death of Stevo Teodosiev, Esma's equally legendary husband and longtime bandleader. It's a one of a kind recording in a number of ways, including the defiant diversity of the repertoire at a time of extreme political and cultural factionalism in BiH and ex-Jugoslavia.
